A couple of days ago a video was leaked onto the internet from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 that featured the player as, what we assume, a terrorist opening fire on innocent civilians in an airport. This video has sparked a bit of outrage with the media and has them saying that it's sickening and uncalled for. Activision has released an official comment on the video, saying that the footage is "not representative of the overall gameplay experience in Modern Warfare 2."
I have also been hearing that this level has a warning message about it's content and an option to skip the level entirely if the viewer does not want to partake in the mass killing of virtual innocent civilians.
More on the story to come, and be sure to check out of exclusive review of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It will launch at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on November 9th.

Reminder! And Excitement!
Although I'm sure most of you know, Grand Theft Auto 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony goes live today. Be sure to check it out.
In related, and very exciting related news, a teaser for the next possible GTA game was revealed on the booklet for GTA: Episodes from Liberty City. As you can see, a chunk at the bottom is "ripped" so we don't know the location however in bold red lettering, it states "Opens March Everywhere."
What does this mean?

Borderlands Review
To be one hundred percent honest with you guys, I hadn't paid any attention to Borderlands up until release day. My best friend kept talking about it and each review I read ended up turning me off even more from the game. I ended up caving in and purchasing this game and so far, I'm a level 20 Hunter and I'm extremely addicted. This game is so much fun.
The game features four player co-op, which if you're like me, this is a huge bonus; and it's not just a gimmicky co-op (Fable II) it's a full fledged co-op mode. Together, you and your buddies can go out and blow up as many creatures or bad guys as you like. I also like that if you join a friends game and you complete a quest in his or her game that you haven't completed on your own, it transfers over to your game.
Like the advertisements state, the game features "90 kazillion" guns, while that may be a bit exaggerated, the game punches a lot of firepower that will keep you and your friends coming back for more. The game also features a loot system and a leveling system much like that of an RPG or MMORPG. The character development is nice as well as your have skill points you gain at each level that you put into various skills based on where you want to go with your character.
The games graphics feature the love 'em or hate 'em cell shading art style. The visuals are in fact, really nice. When you get a headshot or critical shot on a body part, you can expect to see that part go flying off and a stream of blood to shoot out of where it was. The game's sound is also something to be mentioned. Each gunshot, the sound of the beasts making their way toward you, you're vehicle, this might be the best sounding game I've played in a log time.
All in all, this game is a worthy buy but buyer beware; Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 comes out soon!

New Elder Scrolls In The Works?
This is what was posted in a writeup about the new Elder Scrolls book and once all of us nerds got excited about it, they yanked it off.
"A novel that takes places forty-five years after the Oblivion Crisis, which is the story of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion game and the expansion pack Shivering Isles. It partly bridges the gap for the next game, which is set 200 years after the Oblivion crisis."
I'll be honest you guys, I've only played Morrowind and Oblivion. I keep wanting to pick up the others but just never had time.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 to Feature Third Person
Someone got their hands on an early copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 recently and was kind enough to leak a new video that shows third person gameplay. As a huge fan of the SOCOM series, I like the option of first and third person.
Infinity Ward had this to say:
"3rd Person is a new playlist mode in Multiplayer," says Infinity Ward's creative strategist Robert Bowling. "So you can play your favorite playlists [or] game types, like Team Deathmatch just standard, or in Hardcore mode ([with] limited HUD and increased bullet damage) or in the new 3rd Person mode, which means you and everyone in the game is in 3rd person."
"When you're in a 3rd Person playlist you can't toggle in and out, you're always in 3rd person," he says, adding "You can't toggle 3rd person view on or off in a standard game type either, people in 3rd person can't play with people in 1st person, they're entirely different game modes. This is just another way to play the game."
I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking forward to it.
